About Me
God, gave me the Dream of owning my own businesses.
I first started off selling sandwiches and hamburgers locally without success. My best friend who is decease
now, inspired me to learn how to prepare Income Tax Returns, because she would prepare them for me. I
obtained by education for preparing income tax returns at Jackson-Hewitt, where I worked for 3 years.
After learning the necessary skills I decided to step out on FAITH. In 2003, I started Robertson's
Business Soul'ution (RBS), where I now prepare returns for a few clients currently and I also offer a
bookkeeping service. I update my credentials yearly to stay a Bonded CTEC Registered Tax Preparer.
I was taught at a young age how to Knit and Sew. I picked up both skills again because my daughter
wanted to know how. We both enjoy it so much that we can spend hours sewing and knitting. This inspired
me to start Katrena's Gifts & Such (KGS) shortly after RBS in 2003. With God's blessings I want
to share my skills and talents with you!! I knit scarves and custom make them as well. I have the ability to turn
blazers into handbags because I see the possibilities. I like pillows so much, I create them as well. I have 8
pillows on my bed currently. I have a variety to choose from. Click Products to view the selection.
I started these businesses out of need of work and desire prove to those who did not give me the
opportunity to learn or tune skills that I always had inside of me that were crying to get out. Also, I was
inspired by a minister from church who stated, "When they will not hire you, hire yourself." I believe in life-long
learning. With God's blessings June 2007, I obtain my Master Degree in Global Business Management
and Marketing from University of Phoenix.
